Platform Types in the Full Game

Every vertical climb in the full game on the home page is built from four platform types. Platforms measure 114 pixels wide across the 640-pixel screen. Landing on a platform from above while falling triggers an automatic bounce. Understanding each platform helps you plan safe jumps.

Platform Type Color Game Mechanics How to Handle
Static Platform Green Remains stationary. Gives a standard bounce. Counts toward the endurance jumper achievement. Reliable safe surface. Use to pause and plan upcoming jumps.
Moving Platform Blue Slides horizontally, reversing at screen walls. Spawns above 5500 points and gets faster as your score rises. Counts toward focused endurance jumper. Land near the center of the bar so you do not slip off during direction changes.
Breakable Platform Brown cracked Shatters immediately upon contact, playing a cracking sound and falling. Provides zero bounce. Two breakables never spawn in a row. Treat as empty air. Avoid unless attempting the epic fail achievements.
Vanishing Platform White Appears in scripted scene layouts. Gives one normal bounce with a chime, then vanishes immediately. Bounce once and immediately move off to another platform.

Power-Up Items and Equipment

Power-ups rest on solid static or moving platforms. Items never spawn on breakable brown platforms. While carrying a flying item, you cannot shoot, but you gain steady upward speed without needing platforms.

Item Name Spawn Rate Flight Physics and Duration Special Properties
Spring 10 percent chance on solid platforms Instant boost. Launches the Doodler much faster than a regular bounce. Uncoils on contact. Consecutive spring jumps count toward the serial springer achievements.
Propeller Hat Spawns every 10000 to 20000 height units Attaches to the Doodler's head and lifts you for about 3.3 seconds before it detaches. Spinning blades destroy any monster touched during flight, unlocking the monster chopper achievement.
Jetpack Spawns every 10000 to 20000 height units; max 3 per run Straps onto the back and lifts you fast for a few seconds. Covers huge vertical distance rapidly. Does not chop monsters, so steer around black holes and obstacles.

Monsters and Hazards

Obstacles begin appearing as your score climbs past 5000 points. A warning sound plays while monsters or UFOs are active. Threats fall into three groups: monsters, UFOs, and black holes.

Hazard Visual Form Behavior and Health Countermeasures
Black Hole Dark vortex Stays in place. Cannot be destroyed or bounced on. Fatal on contact. Sucks the Doodler in and ends the game. Steer clear.
UFO Flying saucer Oscillates in a wave. Two thirds feature a tractor beam. 1 health point. Touching the beam abducts you. Defeat by shooting with 1 pellet or bouncing on top. Stomping awards UFO bouncer. Shooting during abduction awards UFO abduction survivor.
Stationary Monsters Small monsters Sway gently in a tight elliptical path. 1 health point. Shoot from below or land on top while descending to stomp them.
Patrol Monster Round monster Moves quickly from side to side, bouncing between edges while bobbing. 1 health point. Fast threat. Shoot from underneath or wrap around the screen edge.
Winged Monster Flapping winged creature Flies in a sinuous wave with a four-frame wing-flapping animation. 1 health point. Shoot from below or stomp when it reaches the bottom of its arc.
Large Monster Tall creature Drifts in a sinuous wave. Features 2 health points instead of 1. Takes two shots to kill. The first shot triggers a bloody wound animation. Can also be killed in one hit by stomping its head from above.

General Combat Rules

Combat follows strict collision logic. If the Doodler makes contact with the upper half of a monster while descending, the monster dies and drops away, while the Doodler rebounds with a normal jump. Touching a monster while moving upward or from the side ends your run immediately.

Each shot deals 1 point of damage. With directional shooting turned on in settings, tapping or clicking angles shots toward targets, letting you clear monsters above platforms.
